Using Kaiser Permanente for Addiction Treatment
Kaiser Permanente is a unique integrated health system that provides both insurance and healthcare services. While Kaiser typically prefers to keep treatment within its own network, many Kaiser members have out-of-network benefits that can be applied to addiction treatment at Trust SoCal, especially for services not readily available within the Kaiser system.
Under the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, insurance providers are required to cover substance abuse treatment at the same level as medical and surgical care. Our admissions team works directly with Kaiser Permanente to verify your benefits and maximize your coverage.
